Yechezkel Fekson
Avreich
Yechezkel Fekson grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. He started living a life of Torah and Mitzvos in his early 20’s. He studied two years abroad at Ohr Sameyach in Jerusalem, after completing college. After getting married he pursued a career in Finance while learning in Beis Medrash in the evenings. When Kollel Ateres Ami opened he learned first seder at the Kollel, and eventually transitioned to a full-time Avreich.
Yechezkel enjoys learning and teaching halachos of Shabbos, and teaches our evening intermediate Mishnayos group. Yechezkel feels a special connection with others on a similar journey to that of his own. His philosophy encourages overcoming challenges with a mature mindset and perseverance.
He lives in the West Rogers Park community with his wife Aliza Leah and their four children.
